Dr. Ukoha Ukiwo is a senior lecturer at the Department of Political and Adminsitrative Studies, University of Port Harcourt. He earned his doctorate in International Development from University of Oxford, United Kingdom. He has held visiting research fellowships at Institute of International Studies, University of California, Berkeley and Centre for Peace and Development, Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Dr Ukiwo was previously the Research, Training and Publications officer at the Centre for Advanced Social Science (CASS), Port Harcourt and correspondent (Editorial Operations) of Sunray Newspapers. He currently leads on the Research, Knowledge and Learning component of the DFID funded Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP). Dr Ukiwo has published widely on democracy governance, conflict and security in Nigeria.
